Fondazione ITS Academy A. Cuccovillo

ITS Academies, Universities, and Research Centers

Fondazione ITS “Cuccovillo” was officially established on September 6, 2010, although the extensive preparatory work had already begun in December 2009 to build a solid partnership fully aligned with its objectives, Vision, and Mission, with the aim of developing a serious and credible business plan.

A plan focused not on financial returns, but on educational success.

The spirit behind the initiative was, and still is, to bring to Italy a model that has long been established in other countries, offering young people a valid alternative to university pathways or the immediate search for employment.

It was, and remains, a necessary and long-awaited opportunity, pursued with the commitment to design, plan, and successfully deliver programs that not only respond to the real needs of the labor market, but also provide students with highly specialized technical and professional training, combined with solid foundational and transversal skills. This preparation makes them attractive to the business world even in times of economic crisis—indeed, especially in times of crisis—when innovation, internationalization, and technology transfer become essential, and human capital can represent true added value.

There is therefore a clear need to support research and advanced design through highly skilled technicians equipped with the competencies, insights, and vision required to foster a positive and synergistic impact on the business community.
